Rs.50/- (Rupees fifty only). ALL FEMALE APPLICANTS, SCHEDULED CASTE, SCHEDULED TRIBE, PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED AND EX-SERVICEMEN APPLICANTS are exempted from paying EXAMINATION FEES.

Mode of payment of Fee :

• The candidates should pay the fee by means of “Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS).” These stamps are available at the counter of all Post Offices. These Recruitment Fee Stamps may be pasted on the application form in the space earmarked for the purpose.
• These Recruitment Stamps must be got cancelled from the Counter Clerks of any Post Office of issue with the date stamp of the issuing office on the Application Form itself, taking care at the same time that the impression is clear and distinct to facilitate the identification of date and Post Office of issue at any subsequent stage.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) was established in 1977 under resolution number 46/1/(S)/74-Estt. (B) dated 4th November, 1975. The mandate of the Commission is to conduct examinations. It makes recruitment in Group ‘C’ & Group ‘B’ Non-gazatted posts in Ministries and Departments of Govt. of India. The Commission has its Headquarters in New Delhi.
